Air supply of airports

Certain airports can only be supplied from the air. In order to supply the airport with fuel, barrels of fuel can be filled and provided at a filling station.

First you choose the filling station where the barrels are to be provided. Then you click on the barrel icon in the toolbar and the deployment dialog opens:

Now you select the fuel storage, the barrel size, fuel type and the number of barrels. The payment for the transport can also still be determined and refers to a barrel to be transported. After the barrels have been prepared, they are visible under the fuel storage (Important: the fuel storage must be selected in the table).

In the example, the pilot is paid 15 € per barrel for the transport. In order planning, the barrels are treated like normal cargo.

Note: Class 8 airports can only be supplied from the air, this concerns 2433 airports in FTW.

With the introduction of the air supply comes the first FBO multifunction object. This object consists of an FBO and a fuel shed (small wooden hut to house fuel barrels). In the standard version the FBO has no routes and the shed has a capacity of 2500 KG. This object is only available at airports that are set to air supply.
